We had our 28 week OB visit on Tuesday, Feb. 28th. Everything went well. Carter's heart rate is good. My blood pressure is good, 110 / 70. My doctor even said my weight gain is good. I only gained 2 1/2 pounds in the last month. That puts me up to 157 1/2. I think we're at 20 - 25 lbs of weight gain total at this point. I had the glucose test done and some other blood work done with this visit. My doctor thinks that Carter flipped from his breech position already. I was pretty sure that he did last week. I could feel him doing some major moving in there. She said that she thought she could feel his little butt on my right side. That would go a long with what I believe are feet wreaking havic on my upper left side, just under my ribs. We're very relieved that he flipped. We'll do another ultrasound towards the end to confirm his placement. Hopefully he'll behave and stay in the right position! We start going to the OB every 2 weeks from here on out until the last month. We're officially in the last trimester! That's very exciting! Hopefully it will go by fast. Some nice weather would help with that!
On a different note, we've finished Ellie's big girl room and are now starting to work on Carter's nursery. We did some wall patching today and hope to get out after dinner tonight to go by paint. Dave is in between classes, towards his Fire Officer 1, next week so he won't have any homework to worry about. We're hoping we'll be able to pound out the work and get the room painted and maybe even done by the end of the week. I'll post pictures once we're finished. I'm about to bust to see all the adorable bedding and decor put together!
