24 Weeks

I had my 24 week doctor visit on Jan. 30th. Everything went well. I'm up to 154 pounds at this point. I go back on Feb. 27th for my 28 week visit. I will have my glucose tolerance test during this visit along with other bloodwork done. That will be our last monthly visit. After that visit we start going every 2 weeks. I can hardly believe it is time for that already. Seems like it was later with Elle but I guess not. I think I might be feeling a little bit better than last month. Maybe a little more energy than last month but not much. I've manage to force myself to not nap when Elle naps a couple of days in the past couple of weeks. So I guess that's a good sign. My hips and back are much better. They still ache, especially when sleeping, but at least I'm not having the sharp, intense pains I was having last month. The cramping seems to be getting a bit better too. I seem to be only having it 1 or 2 times a day. Even though it's still not fun, that's much better than 4 to 5 times a day! We go back to the perinatologist next Thurs. (I'll be exactly 26 weeks) for another ultrasound to check to see if the water cyst on the brain has obsloved. Can't wait to see our little guy again! We're just finishing up Elle's big girl room, should have her all moved on on Sun. :-) We'll then be turing our attention on the baby's room. Can't seem to find bedding that I like that doesn't cost an arm and a leg though. We know we want to do a firefighter theme, of course, and I've only found 1 set that is decent in that theme. I'm just too cheap to spend $150 on it, especially when I'm now learning with Ellie that it will proabably be only used for a couple of years. So the search continues.
