We're trying to work on potty training. We're not very organized yet but we're trying. We went last week to let Carter pick out some "Big Boy" undies. He wore them for the first time today. Check out the link below to see some cute pics of him in them. Carter knows what to do with he is pantless. However, the undies only lasted about 30 mintues before he pee peed on the carpet. Oh well... Guess we just gotta keep practicing. Now we just got to figure out how to get him to "let it all out" at one time. He runs to the potty and lets a little out and then we get excited and then we do the same thing over and over and over again. This morning it was like 5 times in 4 minutes. I was exhausted!!! Thank goodness nap time came soon after that!!!

Oh my gosh, Carter is SO CUTE!! Could he be any cuter?? What a ham! I love it! Handy Manny is a big one in our house too ;0)
I can give you good news... Lee had that EXACT same problem for about a week! It takes about a week for their bladder to kick in and say "hey, I can hold it for a little bit". Don't get me wrong, he's no where near being potty trained, but he can hold it for about an hour now.
Here's what I did to help my sanity, because we had the EXACT same problem. I kept him naked in the house and left the potty outside the bathroom door, or wherever we were going. That way if he had to pee, he could run over himself and sit down. If he had an accident, he was able to clean it up off the floor with a towel (then I would clorox wipe the floor). After the 1st day I was like "what did I do to myself?", then I was told to stick it out a week. After a week, it was so much better. Also, when I would go out of the house, I would just put a pull-up over his underwear. That way he would feel when he peed and know that he had an accident. If that helps at all...
Now Lee won't poop in his pants at all, but he doesn't mind peeing in them either. He thinks its funny to watch his pants turn dark. Drives me crazy. LOL, but it's still a work in progress. Won't it be awesome though once they are trained and we don't have to buy diapers anymore? I can't wait!
I should clearify, when I said wherever we are going... I meant "upstairs, basement, etc".
I don't let Lee go to the store naked ;) lol.
